Abstract


COLORS AND ANIMAL BODIES IN ARISTOTLE'S PHYSIOLOGY

The analysis is focused on the role of colours in Aristotles physiology as a real indicator of distinctions and differences on which general classifications can be obtained. His enquiry extends from both external and internal parts up to those parts namely blood and semen on which vital processes of animals life depend such as growing, nutrition and reproduction.
